The problem
To move money in Mexico, an institution must speak the central bank's own wire language: binary messages with exact byte layouts, cryptographic signatures, partitioned packets, and separate channels for payments, security, and receipts — six or more distinct connections, each with its own protocol, plus contingency procedures for the days when the primary systems fail. Getting this wrong is not a bug; it is a compliance event. Most fintechs face months of specification-reading before they can send their first test message.
The solution
InterPago packages the entire problem: participant-side SPEI and SPID connectivity, the CoDi and DiMo digital payment schemes, certificate and digital-signature lifecycle management, liquidity projection, reconciliation, and an operations dashboard. We even built a Banxico simulator — a stand-in for the central bank's own systems — so a client can rehearse certification before the real exam.
The reference architecture is engineered for regulated scale: ten thousand transactions per second on the design sheet, with the event log as the source of truth so every peso's path can be replayed. The platform exists as working middleware with real protocol implementations, a bilingual commercial website, and an implementation methodology refined across two technology generations.
